Let’s meet

First up, I need to be honest – I’ve no idea how a blog works. I was brought up to believe that when you first meet someone you introduce yourself. It’s only polite – right? So hi, my name is Tonia. I’ve nothing in particular to say – at least in my opinion – the people around me however would probably give you a very different view, like maybe I never shut up. Well actually, it’s my brain, my brain never shuts up. It jabbers away day and night and can actually be quite annoying especially when I decide to share my thoughts with others. So I ask you what better way to annoy people with my jabbering brain than a blog?

In real life I have a family – a wonderful jabber-tolerant husband and two “supercalifragilisticexpialidocious” daughters – no bias here. I also have lupus which can be a real bummer for all of us. It’s debilitating, depressing, exhausting, painful and sometimes extremely frightening but – this may sound odd- it has also been one of the most enlightening gifts I have ever been given. It has introduced me to the “dome” and all the people in it. I will explain the dome some other time but suffice to say my whole world, my heart and my soul have been freed from the shackles I was held breathless by and I have stumbled across the most incredible awakening with the most extraordinary people.

As I share more through this newly-discovered tool – because I come from the dark ages – I will share more of myself and my experiences with you just as a friendship grows. That is making one awfully huge assumption, that someone other than myself will actually read what I write. Oh well, I guess it will at least give the people close to me a break from my jabbering head and I suppose that’s a good thing.

I also love people and hearing their stories, so please feel free to share yours.

Teddy bear hugs,
Tonia

So, I want to hear your thoughts…. As a techno phobe, I don’t even know how to follow/subscribe to you. Can you tell me how to?

      Hi Heather,
Thanks for the positive feedback 🙂 . We are in the process of figuring out how to set up a subscribe/follow widget on the page. Not sure how yet but will let you know once it’s up and running.
